Air Vacuums
Rotina is the distributor for one of the most powerful portable air vacuums available today - specialized high performance cleaning machines called Jumbo Air Vacuums from Tornado. These electrically powered vacuum machines are used in large manufacturing facilities and heavy industrial plants.
Depending on the product, each Air Jumbo Jumbo has a 2.25 HP powerhead mounted on a rolled-top 55-gallon steel drum. An external poly bag is mounted on a support rod and serves as a final filter. The majority of the debris is recovered in the steel drum. Both the Single and the Dual Air Jumbo Vacuum are highly portable thanks to a four-wheeled steel dolly with convenient transport handle.
They are powered by compressed air for rapid high-volume bulk recovery of liquids such as machine oils, heavy oils, ink, slurries, sludge and other waste liquid debris. Optional tools and attachments are available for various applications. The range includes a variety of options.
Single Air Jumbo Vacuum

Air Jumbo Vacuum
The unit is shipped with a standard 3/16″ jet installed in the Venturi powerhead. Beyond this, 7/32″ and 1/4″ jet is also supplied and can be installed if required. The smallest air jet of 3/16″ is strongly recommended to conserve plant air.
The minimum 15-HP air compressor system maintains 30 to 60 psi at the vacuum gauge (with the vacuum valve open) for light wet/dry recovery and 60 psi to 100 psi for maximum pick-up power. Generally, this single air jumbo performs excellently with water, cutting oil, machine oil and solvents.
Dual Air Jumbo Vacuum
Similar performance to the single air jumbo except that the 7/32″ air jet is recommended for heavy oils, sand, metal grindings and chips while the 1/4″ is ideal for paint strippers. Air compressor is at 25-HP.
Quad Air Jumbo Vacuum
The unit is shipped with a standard 1/4″ jet installed in the Venturi powerhead for sludge, iron dust and chips, sand blasting recovery, shot blast, slag and scale.
The minimum 50-HP air compressor system maintains 50 to 75 psi at the vacuum gauge (with the vacuum valve open) for general wet/dry recovery and 75 psi to 100 psi for maximum pick-up power.
